TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have obtained parental/guardian consent), are medically fit to participate in physical exercise, and will inform instructors of any relevant medical conditions. CorePlus may refuse entry where participation presents a health or safety risk.
2. Memberships & Packages
Memberships and packages are valid for the period stated at purchase and run from the date of activation or purchase unless otherwise specified. Unused sessions expire automatically upon the stated expiry date. All purchases are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable unless required by Singapore law. CorePlus reserves the right to revise pricing, policies, operating hours and schedules at its discretion.
3. Monthly Recurring Memberships
Monthly memberships renew automatically each billing cycle unless terminated. Written notice of termination must be provided at least thirty (30) days prior to the next billing date. If notice is not provided within this period, the subsequent billing cycle will be charged. All fees paid are non-refundable.
4. Single Entry Passes
Single entry passes are valid for one visit only and apply solely to the specified facility unless otherwise stated.
5. Facility Use
Open Gym memberships grant access to the gym floor only. Pilates studio usage, private training sessions, and exclusive studio access require separate booking or packages. Members must comply with studio rules and conduct themselves safely and respectfully. CorePlus may suspend or terminate access for breaches.
6. Independent Instructors
Certain services may be conducted by independent instructors who are not employees or agents of CorePlus. In such cases, CorePlus acts solely as the facility provider.
7. Assumption of Risk
Participation in fitness activities involves inherent risks including injury, illness, paralysis, or death. You voluntarily assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, CorePlus shall not be liable for injury arising from ordinary negligence. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CorePlus against claims arising from your negligence, wilful misconduct, or breach of these Terms.
9. Medical Responsibility
You are responsible for obtaining medical clearance and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage. In emergencies, you authorise CorePlus to seek medical assistance on your behalf and accept responsibility for associated costs.
10. Damage to Property
You are liable for damage to equipment or facilities caused by your negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Bookings & Cancellations
Cancellation and no-show policies are governed by the booking rules displayed at reservation. CorePlus may cancel sessions for operational or safety reasons.
12. Personal Data (PDPA)
CorePlus collects, uses and discloses personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore and our Privacy Policy for operational, safety and marketing purposes (unless consent is withdrawn).
13. Media Consent
By entering the studio, you consent to incidental photography or video recording for marketing purposes unless you notify CorePlus in writing.
14. Suspension & Termination
CorePlus may suspend or terminate memberships or access without refund for breach of rules, non-payment, or conduct compromising safety.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CorePlus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
17. Mediation
Before commencing court proceedings (except for urgent injunctive relief), the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms through mediation administered by the Singapore Mediation Centre in Singapore in accordance with its prevailing mediation procedures. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of a written request for mediation (or such longer period as the parties agree), either party may proceed with court proceedings in Singapore.
